Patrick Bruce Metheny is an American guitarist and jazz composer. He is the frontman of the group Pat Metheny and is also involved in duets, solo works and other side projects. His style combines elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, Latin jazz and jazz fusion. Metheny has three gold albums and 20 Grammy Awards and is the only person to have won Grammy Awards in 10 categories. He is the brother of jazz flugelhor Mike Metheny.
